Kristine Lyon's Rapid eLearning Tool
To create a module to fulfill the requirements of the final assignment for EDET 703, I used the Dick and Carey instructional model and Articulate 360’s Rise tool to develop a introductory lesson on credit scores and credit history.
This learning module is intended for the twelfth grade CP economics course that I currently teach. One of the personal finance unit’s main focuses is on credit—what it is, how you get it, how it can affect you. Understanding your credit history and how to find record of your credit history is are important skills in maintaining your personal financial health. This lesson is intended to be a basic introduction to credit which would be followed up with additional content to prepare graduating seniors to [hopefully] protect their credit history and not make mistakes that have long-term consequences before even graduating college.
